Background:
This was the second project I worked on for EA. I was brought on to create Final Fantasy X style missions and encounters.
Job responsibilities:
I was responsible for the Minas Tirith portion of the game. I used LUA and a couple of in-house tools to create content (splines, trigger volumes, etc). I was responsible for the combat encounters, cinematic cuts and completion aspects for this mission. I also did some spot work on a couple other areas of the game (namely, some work in Moria).
Accomplishments:
There was a major design direction shift with this project, so we ended up completing this game in only a fraction of the time left to us. None the less, we completed the game on time.
