Background:
I was brought on as a contractor to create and manage the character customization system for the game.
Job Responsibilities:
Primarily, my responsibilities included working closely with character modelers and engineers to create a tool that could generate character customization controls for the player. Not only was this tool meant to be used for player character creation, but was also meant to be used to create random NPCs in the game, as well as the system that would handle the “paper doll” for the player when they received new pieces of equipment and weapons.
Accomplishments:
Sadly, the game was never finished, but I am glad to have delved into this part of design (that I had not worked on before in my career).
